Massage Therapist

Svitlana Kucher, CMT is originally from the Ukraine where she attended medical school and completed her studies as a Physician's Assistant. After graduation, she worked hand and hand with physicians in the hospital emergency room. In 2005, she relocated to the United States and began her studies in Massage therapy, graduating from JSG School of Massage Therapy in Northvale, NJ. Through her training and experience, she has become proficient in Medical Massage, Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point therapy as well as Chair Massage. Ms. Kucher is a certified member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Because there is no one best way to address the therapeutic treatment of a patient's symptoms or their cause, Ms. Kucher strives to approach her work by paying close attention to the patient's body and what it is telling her during each session. This individualized and intuitive approach may incorporate other modalities such as Myofacial Release, Trigger Point therapy and/or Acupressure. In order to continue the healing process, she may note proper posture, recommend proper stretching and consult with the other therapists on site, including the Physical Therapist, Chiropractor and Acupuncturist.
